Live Event Production

Description

There are three lots on this framework covering low, mid level and high level production events

Lot 1.1 – low production value events

The services provided by this lot are:

  • Online registration;
  • Delegate management;
  • Venue management
  • Basic AV equipment;
  • Set and stage production;
  • Speaker liaison;
  • Account management.

This lot would normally be used for low budget or straightforward conferences or small numbers of delegates (<1000) where a full conference service is required. This lot can be used where a small exhibition is needed alongside a conference or if a series of conferences is required (a roadshow) but should not be used for other Events and Exhibitions.

Lot 1.2 –  mid level production value events

The services provided by this lot are:

  • Event website including online registration;
  • Management of paying events;
  • Complex delegate management;
  • Multiple venue management;
  • Standard AV equipment;
  • Webcasting facilities;
  • Set and stage production;
  • Audience response systems;
  • Speaker sourcing and management;
  • Delivery of award events;
  • Management of exhibition area management;
  • Account management;
  • Content development;
  • Event evaluation.

This lot would normally be used for mid-range budgets or more complex paying conferences, particularly when a bespoke website is required or for medium numbers of delegates (<2000) where a full conference service is required. This lot can be used where a small exhibition is needed alongside a conference or if a series of conferences is required (a roadshow) but should not be used for other Events and Exhibitions.

Lot 1.3 – high level production value events

The services provided by this lot are:

  • Event website including online registration;
  • Management of paying events;
  • Complex delegate management;
  • Multiple venue management;
  • Standard AV equipment;
  • Webcasting facilities;
  • Set and stage production;
  • Audience response systems;
  • Speaker sourcing and management;
  • Delivery of award events;
  • Management of exhibition area management;
  • Account management;
  • Content development;
  • Event evaluation;
  • Strategic event planning;
  • Delivery of overseas events.

This lot would normally be used for high-range budgets or complex conferences both in the UK or overseas, particularly when a bespoke website is required or for large numbers or high profile and where a full conference service is required. This lot can be used where a small exhibition is needed alongside a conference or if a series of conferences is required (a roadshow) but should not be used for other Events and Exhibitions.

Access

Before using this framework you should ensure that you have applied for and received the appropriate approval.

ERG approval is currently required for all spend over £100,000. For activity below £100,000, your Director of Communication is responsible for approval.

Background

In response to the review of Government direct communication and the role of the Central Office of Information (COI), published in June 2011, the COI closed on 31 March 2012. All of its frameworks transferred to Government Procurement Service in December 2011.
